Reflecting on a Life Lost
My Grandpop died of a heart attack aggravated by Covid and his diabetes. I made this photo of him as a dedication to him and to show me reflecting on his life lost. It also goes to show that even though he is gone he is still there in my heart. It is the same for families through COVID untill they can see each other again one day.

The World Needs Helpers More Than Ever
Before the pandemic, my favorite thing to do was to help others. I have so many great memories of the many activities I did. Collecting socks for the homeless, making blankets for children in the hospital, volunteering at nursing homes, making dog toys for shelters, collecting food for animal shelters, performing at nursing homes, attending the Hero Roundtable, and so much more. I miss being able to do all those things, but still try to help how I safely can during this time.

This is Hope!
The first photo shows a road, the road of life, which we never thought could lead to so much death. The second picture shows a tree. Our world has become that tree tangled within it’s own vines that COVID has created. The third picture depicts a different tree, heart broken at what has happened to the one it loved. COVID has broken our hearts. In contrast, the forth picture is of two trees that become one at the bottom and their top halves look like they are hugging. This shows how we are separate, but how we are together in our hearts. This is how love is carrying us on down the road of life. This is hope.
